The iconic Melbourne Cricket ground is the 11th largest stadium in the world with a capacity of 100,024 people. 

 

It’s a state-of-the-art international sporting stadium, used for cricket, Australian rules football and other events such as commonwealth games, FIFA world cup qualifiers, rugby union and rugby league. 

 

Syfon Systems team are proud to have been involved with this heritage listed project, which is often referred to as ‘the spiritual home of Australian sport’.

Adelaide Oval - South Australia

The A$450 million Adelaide Oval Redevelopment transformed an existing facility into a world class stadium and has put the venue back on the global map for a range of international and national entertainment and sporting events.

State of the art design technologies were utilised for the facility, which includes two new grandstands increasing the ground’s capacity from 34,000 to 52,000.

Syfon Systems team delivered a world-class syfonic drainage system for the redevelopment, which has created a vibrant environment and promotes further development in the Adelaide CBD and along the Riverbank Precinct.

The $330 million Craigieburn Town Centre project is a new shopping, entertainment and community complex, which is transforming the Victorian suburb into a key regional shopping and retail destination.

 

30 minutes from Melbourne city, Craigiburn Central is home to more than 160 retailers with department stores, restaurants, fresh food market, cinema complex, leisure and entertainment facilities.

 

Built over 50,000sqm, Syfon Systems designed and delivered a world-class syfonic system for the project.

Fiona Stanley Hospital - Perth, WA

As a flagship health facility for Western Australia, the $2 billion Fiona Stanley Hospital services communities south of Perth and across the state.

The tertiary hospital is the West Australian government’s largest ever building infrastructure project, with 783 beds including a 140 bed $255.7 million state rehabilitation service funded by the Australian government.

Syfon Systems are proud to have been involved in this groundbreaking project, which includes a cancer centre with radiotherapy treatment facilities, medical oncology and haematology, renal transplantation and dialysis, paediatric, obstetric and neonatal services, a full array of medical and surgical services, and extensive radiology services including MRI, CT and PET/CT.

A medical research facility built for the Harry Perkin's Institute of Medical Research is also co-located on site.

Docklands stadium (also known by its former sponsored names of Colonial Stadium and Telstra Dome, and its current sponsorship name of Etihad Stadium) is a multi-purpose sports and entertainment stadium in the Docklands precinct of Melbourne, Australia. 

 

Construction started in October 1997 and was completed in 2000 at a cost of $460 million.

 

Syfon Systems provided a world-class syfonic system for this stadium, which has a venue capacity of 56,347 people and features a retractable roof which opens and closes in less than 20 minutes. When the roof is open, 98 percent of patrons are sitting behind the drip line of the roof.
